What ImagePixelator Is

ImagePixelator is a browser‑based image pixelator that lets you pixelate an image online for redaction or pixel‑art effects. All pixelation happens locally in your browser. In normal use we do not upload your images to our servers.

Throughout this document we may use the terms “image pixelator”, “pixelate image online”, “pixelate an image”, and “pixelated image” to describe the service.

Information We Do NOT Collect

• Images you open in the tool
• Regions you select to pixelate/blur/cover
• The resulting pixelated image

These never leave your device as part of the pixelation process.

Information We May Collect

We collect minimal information necessary to operate and improve the website:

• Usage analytics: page views and basic event metrics (e.g., feature clicks). This helps us understand how people use the image pixelator so we can improve “how to pixelate an image” flows. Data is aggregated and does not include your images.
• Device and browser information: type, OS, and version for compatibility and debugging.
• Error logs: crash and performance data to diagnose issues.
• Cookies/local storage: preferences such as theme, locale, compare/preview settings, and last used export options. We do not store image content in cookies or local storage.

• You can use the tool entirely offline once the page is loaded; the image pixelation itself does not require network calls.
